Brooklyn Beckham has made it clear that he has no intention of toning down his public displays of affection for wife Nicola Peltz after their latest anniversary celebrations attracted criticism online.
The 27-year-old appeared to hit back at social media users who questioned his romantic tributes, declaring that he was ‘obsessed’ with his wife and describing her as ‘perfect’.
The comments came after the couple marked seven years together on Thursday with a series of affectionate Instagram posts.
Both Brooklyn and Nicola shared heartfelt messages celebrating their relationship, alongside photographs offering followers a glimpse into their life together.
However, Brooklyn’s romantic declarations did not receive entirely positive reactions.
Hours after publishing his anniversary tribute, he shared another photograph of Nicola looking glamorous and seemingly surprised. Alongside the image, he addressed the criticism directly.
‘Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don’t care. She’s perfect xx,’ he wrote, adding a middle-finger emoji to underline his apparent frustration with the negative responses.
His message suggested that he was unwilling to let online criticism affect the way he speaks about his wife or expresses his feelings for her.
Earlier in the day, Brooklyn had posted a particularly emotional tribute to Nicola, sharing a recent photograph of himself kissing her on the cheek.
In the picture, Nicola was carrying a red Chanel handbag reportedly worth £5,390.
Brooklyn also included photographs of two bouquets of flowers and a handwritten love letter, adding a personal touch to the anniversary celebrations.

Despite the affectionate nature of the post, some followers questioned the public nature of the declaration.
A number of commenters described the message as ‘over performative’, with others drawing attention to Brooklyn’s previous criticism of public displays of affection involving his own family.
