Amanda Holden revealed how her husband filmed her while she was undressed after a moisturiser bottle fell behind hotel furniture.

Amanda Holden has revealed the hilarious moment her husband, Chris Hughes, filmed her while she was naked and attempting to retrieve a bottle of moisturiser that had fallen behind a chest of drawers during a holiday.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 55, shared the amusing story during an appearance on Heart Breakfast, where she explained how a seemingly ordinary skincare routine quickly turned into an embarrassing holiday incident.

Amanda said she had been applying moisturiser to her body while staying in a hotel when the bottle accidentally slipped behind a piece of furniture.

With the bottle trapped in a narrow gap, Amanda found herself having to climb around the chest of drawers to retrieve it.

The situation became even more awkward because she was still completely naked at the time.

Speaking to her co-host JK, Amanda recalled exactly what happened.

“I was applying moisturiser and my moisturiser went down the back of a unit in a hotel, so I had to straddle this drawer thing and get around the back to do it,” she explained.

JK immediately picked up on one particularly important detail and interrupted her.

“Naked!” he exclaimed.

Amanda confirmed that she had indeed been completely naked while trying to recover the bottle.

“I was totally naked,” she said.

She went on to explain that getting behind the furniture was far more difficult than she had initially expected because the chest of drawers was heavy and there was only a small amount of space available.

According to Amanda, she had managed to pull the furniture out slightly before attempting to squeeze into the gap.

She then discovered that her husband was nearby — but rather than helping her with the problem, Chris had apparently decided to document the situation on his phone.

“My husband, who was on his phone rather than helping me, told me he’d videoed the entire thing,” Amanda recalled.

The radio show then played the video, giving listeners a glimpse into the bizarre situation.

In the footage, Amanda can be seen attempting to reach the narrow space underneath the furniture while trying to recover the missing bottle. At one point, she uses a high heel to help her reach into the gap.

However, Amanda soon realised that Chris was filming her.

“Don’t you dare video this,” she tells him in the clip.

Despite her warning, the recording continued as Amanda attempted to reverse herself out of the cramped space.

She eventually managed to free herself and stand up in front of the camera. Union Jack flag graphics were added to the footage to preserve her modesty when the clip was shown on the programme.

Amanda then headed back towards the bathroom while telling her husband to stop recording.

“Can you stop videoing!” she says in the footage.

The unusual holiday story left JK amused, particularly because of Chris’s decision to film the incident instead of helping his wife retrieve the moisturiser.

Amanda, however, was pleased that the mission had ultimately been successful.

“But I did retrieve the moisturiser, you’ll be pleased to know…” she told JK after the video was played.

JK then joked about the familiar dynamic between Amanda and her husband.

“It’s nice to see that Chris is still playing the annoying husband. That’s what I like,” he replied.
