The 54-year-old presenter, known for her vibrant personality on Britain’s Got Talent, reunited with close friends and former Cutting It co-stars for a cosy celebration filled with laughter, wine and nostalgic fun.

The group stayed at the luxurious Hanks House, a countryside property the star described as “the most insane house” she had ever visited.

Wanting to fully enjoy their surroundings, Holden revealed they even cancelled their dinner plans because none of them wanted to leave the glamorous retreat.

To give fans a taste of the atmosphere, Holden posted a comedy-style title sequence on Instagram, reminiscent of iconic 90s sitcoms such as Friends and Seinfeld.

Set to Paul Russell’s upbeat hit Lil Boo Thang, the video introduced each guest with their own mini dance moment.

Holden, dressed in matching striped pyjamas like the rest of the group, raised a glass of red wine during her cameo before fellow actresses Sarah Parish, Angela Griffin and Lucy Gaskell took turns showing off their moves.

The weekend lineup blended nostalgia from the early 2000s with longstanding friendships.

Parish, Griffin and Gaskell all starred with Holden in Cutting It, the BBC’s beloved Manchester-set hairdressing drama that ran from 2002 to 2005.

The trio was joined by Holden’s longtime friends Tamzin Outhwaite of EastEnders fame and Nicola Stephenson from Emmerdale, both of whom she worked with during the 2017 theatre production Stepping Out.

Even Angela Griffin’s cavapoo, Smith, made a cameo, stealing the spotlight as Holden scooped him up for an adorable appearance in the video’s “opening credits.”

In her caption, Holden described the getaway as an “epic weekend of cosy chats and hot toddies,” promising that more photos and clips were on the way.

She later shared a heartfelt message reflecting on over three decades of friendship with the women, adding that they missed one of their usual group members, actress and presenter Lisa Faulkner.

Angela Griffin echoed the sentiment, celebrating the tradition they’ve maintained for years. “We talked, we danced, we ate and most importantly, we laughed,” she wrote.

The reunion also revived fond memories of Cutting It, created by Debbie Horsfield, who drew inspiration from her own family’s experience in the hair industry.

Holden, who played Mia Bevan, has openly expressed interest in a revival of the series, noting in a past interview how much she treasures her connection with her former castmates.

Today, the women continue to enjoy successful careers across television, presenting and drama, but their annual Christmas getaway proves that some bonds only grow stronger with time.
