Anna Dua posted a series of photos from New York with the caption ‘See ya summer,’ and her followers had plenty of positive things to say.
Sportsnet host Anna Dua had fans flooding her social media with compliments after sharing a glamorous series of photos from her recent trip to New York for the US Open.
The 27-year-old television personality, who is best known for her work covering hockey and the NHL, swapped the sports studio for the bright lights of New York City as she attended the US Open.
Dua documented her summer getaway on Instagram, sharing a collection of photos showing her enjoying time in the city with friends.
Among the pictures was a particularly eye-catching snap of the presenter enjoying a drink while wearing a little black dress.
With New York’s towering skyscrapers visible in the background, the photo offered a glamorous snapshot of her time in the city.
Dua captioned the post simply: “See ya summer.”
The short message appeared to mark the end of the summer season, but her followers clearly were not ready to move on from the photos.
The Sportsnet personality’s Instagram audience quickly filled the comments section with compliments, with fans reacting enthusiastically to her look and the collection of New York snapshots.
One follower summed up their reaction with a simple: “Fire!”
Another admirer told Dua: “Anna you’re so incredibly beautiful.”
Other followers used words including “Gorgeous” and “Stunning” to describe the presenter, while another fan praised the collection of photographs by writing: “Great pictures.”
A separate comment simply read: “Damn!”
Another admirer added: “Beautiful!”
The reaction highlights the strong following Dua has built during her career in sports broadcasting.
Although her latest photos showed her enjoying a glamorous evening away from work, Dua has established herself as a familiar face among hockey fans through her television and radio appearances.
Her broadcasting career began to gain significant attention after she started covering hockey for NBC Sports in 2019.
Dua later moved to NHL Network in 2022, further establishing herself within the hockey broadcasting world.
She now works for Sportsnet, where she contributes to both the network’s television and radio coverage of the NHL.
Her work has allowed her to combine her interest in sports with a career in broadcasting, while her social media presence has given fans a glimpse at her life away from the rink and television studio.
The US Open trip was another example of that balance.
While Dua is closely associated with hockey, the tennis tournament gave her an opportunity to enjoy one of the biggest sporting events of the summer while also exploring New York City.
Her Instagram post appeared to capture that relaxed side of her personality, with the presenter posing for photos and enjoying time with friends.
The city skyline provided a dramatic backdrop for the images, adding to the glamorous atmosphere of the post.
Dua has also previously attracted attention online for a much more unusual reason.
The television host recently went viral after revealing a bizarre drink combination that left some of her followers surprised.
Dua shared her unusual take on shaved ice, combining it with mustard in a pairing that generated plenty of discussion on social media.
The unusual food-and-drink choice quickly became another memorable moment for followers who regularly keep up with her posts.
Interestingly, Dua’s unusual creation also prompted comparisons with pop star Dua Lipa, thanks to the similarity between their names.
The British-Albanian singer has previously gone viral for her own unconventional food combinations, including a drink involving pickle juice and Diet Coke.
While the two Duas have no connection, their unusual food and drink choices have provided social media users with an amusing comparison.
For the Sportsnet host, however, her latest post was much more glamorous.
Rather than sparking debate over an unusual beverage, Dua’s New York photos brought an overwhelmingly positive response from her followers.
Her little black dress proved particularly popular, with fans quickly filling the comments with praise.
The classic outfit also fit naturally into the setting, with Dua enjoying an evening surrounded by the lights and skyscrapers of New York City.
Her appearance at the US Open came during a busy period for the tournament, which once again attracted major attention from sports fans and celebrities alike.
For Dua, the event provided an opportunity to step away from her regular hockey coverage and enjoy another major sporting occasion.
As the hockey season gets underway, Dua will return to the world she knows best, with Sportsnet’s NHL coverage providing plenty of opportunities for her to appear on television and radio.
But her latest Instagram update shows that the broadcaster continues to attract attention away from the sports desk too.
With almost 49,000 followers on Instagram, Dua has developed an audience that extends beyond traditional hockey coverage.
Her fans regularly respond to her professional updates, travel photographs and personal posts, making social media another important part of her public profile.
And judging by the reaction to her latest New York snapshots, her followers were more than happy to see the presenter enjoying the final days of summer in style.
From the little black dress to the Manhattan skyline and the enthusiastic comments from her fans, Dua’s US Open getaway provided a glamorous break before the focus returns to the NHL season.
For now, though, the message from her followers was clear: they were more than impressed with the Sportsnet host’s latest look.
