Sarah Snook & Dakota Fanning Star in Thriller All Her Fault

Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning to Star in Thriller Series, All Her Fault.

LONDON, UK – Succession star Sarah Snook is set to return to the screen in a gripping new mystery thriller series, All Her Fault. The show, which also features Dakota Fanning, is a highly anticipated adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara.

The series’ premise taps into every parent’s worst nightmare. Sarah Snook plays Marissa Irvine, a mother who arrives to pick up her young son, Milo, from a playdate. However, the woman who answers the door is a complete stranger who claims to have never heard of her son. The official synopsis from Sky describes the chilling ordeal: “And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.” The plot thickens as the disappearance unravels, raising questions about trust, community secrets, and who is truly to blame.

The show is already generating significant buzz due to its star-studded cast. Joining Snook and Fanning are a host of talented actors, including Jake Lacy (The White Lotus), Michael Peña (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Sophia Lillis (I Am Not Okay With This), Abby Elliott (The Bear), and Jay Ellis (Insecure). The ensemble cast promises a multi-layered story with numerous twists and turns, keeping viewers guessing until the very end.

For Sarah Snook, this role marks a significant return to television following her acclaimed performance as Shiv Roy in Succession. The actress has been busy since the show wrapped, starring in the London West End’s critically acclaimed one-woman play, The Picture of Dorian Gray. Snook, who recently became a mother herself, is also serving as an executive producer on the series, a role that will likely allow her to bring a personal perspective to the emotional and intense themes of motherhood and loss.

The original novel, which is set in a Dublin suburb, follows four women closely connected to the disappearance. While only one of them may be responsible for taking the child, the community’s judgment and speculation mean all of them could be blamed. The TV adaptation, adapted by screenwriter Megan Gallagher, is set in Chicago and is expected to explore these same themes of suspicion, friendship, and the dark side of a seemingly quiet community.

The series is set to premiere on Peacock on November 6. The release schedule will follow a semi-binge format, with the first four episodes dropping on the premiere date, followed by two new episodes every Thursday until the finale on November 20. With a thrilling premise, a stellar cast, and a tightly-paced release, All Her Fault is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about mystery series of the autumn season.
