Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has tearfully announced her separation from spouse G Flip after more than four years together.
The 45-year-old reality television personality shared the emotional news in an Instagram video on Monday. She fought back tears as she explained that the couple had decided to part ways.

Stause and the Australian singer, 33, whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo and who uses they/them pronouns, held an intimate wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023.
The ceremony was not legally binding, but the pair celebrated their relationship with several additional vow renewals over the following years.
“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” Stause began in her video.
“G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other.”

The Netflix star added that maintaining affection for her former partner was not difficult because she remained in love with them.
Stause also admitted that she did not yet understand all the reasons behind their breakup.
“I’m sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get,” she said. “I know that will happen, and I’m gonna heal, and everything’s gonna be fine.”

She explained that she wanted to address the separation personally rather than release a brief written statement.
The reality star thanked fans for their support and said she felt they deserved a more personal update after following the couple’s relationship.
Stause also opened up about the emotional toll of experiencing another marriage breakdown.

She admitted that she felt “like a little bit of a failure” after her second marriage ended in separation.
“There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself,” she confessed. “So I just have to kind of heal and figure this out.”
The actress, who was previously married to This Is Us star Justin Hartley, described the split as painful and difficult to process.
“It’s hard. It’s painful. I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss, or maybe I don’t miss,” she said.
Despite the heartbreak, Stause looked back fondly on her time with G Flip.
She described their relationship as an “amazing over four years” together, adding that the ending was different from what she had imagined.
The star admitted that she was struggling to make sense of the separation while navigating the intense emotions surrounding the announcement.

“I don’t know what I hope for myself,” she said. “It’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it.”
Stause ended her message by addressing G Flip directly.
“I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she said.
“And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us.”

G Flip later shared a statement of their own on social media, choosing to post a written message rather than record a video.
“After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together,” the singer wrote.
“I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply.”

G Flip also revealed that they were finding the separation difficult and asked fans to respect their privacy during the challenging period.
The former couple celebrated their relationship on several occasions after their Las Vegas ceremony.
They renewed their vows in Palm Springs in July 2023 before holding another celebration in G Flip’s native Australia in July 2024.

In July 2025, they marked their relationship with a medieval-themed celebration at a castle turret in Los Angeles.
Stause and G Flip first revealed their romance in May 2022.
They had initially met at a Halloween party in 2021 while both were dating other people.
Stause was linked to The Oppenheim Group president Jason Oppenheim, while G Flip had connections to former The Bachelorette Australia star Brooke Blurton.

The pair began dating several months after their first meeting.
G Flip later cast Stause in the music video for their song Get Me Outta Here in 2022.
Before her relationship with the singer, Stause was married to Hartley from 2017 until their divorce was finalized in 2021.
The former couple’s separation marks another major personal change for the Selling Sunset star, who has now shared her heartbreak with fans while expressing hope that both she and G Flip will eventually find happiness.
