A 29-year-old fitness influencer and model has been found brutally murdered in her Budapest apartment, prompting a major police investigation into what authorities believe was a premeditated killing motivated by financial gain.
Dolli Molnar, a well-known figure in Hungary’s fitness and bodybuilding community, was discovered dead inside her rented flat in the Angyalföld district of the capital after friends raised concerns when they were unable to contact her for two days.

Emergency services were called to the property on Tuesday, January 6, and firefighters were forced to break into the apartment, where they found a devastating scene.
According to Hungarian prosecutors, Molnar was found lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.
Police have since confirmed that the injuries were consistent with a violent and sustained attack. The case has shocked both the local community and Molnar’s large online following, where she regularly shared fitness content and lifestyle videos on platforms such as TikTok.
Investigators quickly launched a manhunt for a suspect believed to have fled the scene. Within hours, officers arrested a 33-year-old man, identified by Hungarian media as E. Gábor, at his home in Budapest’s 19th district of Kispest.
Authorities say the suspect did not deny responsibility for the killing during initial questioning.
Prosecutors allege that the attack occurred following a sexual encounter and was carried out with the intention of stealing valuables from the victim’s home.
Court documents claim the suspect entered Molnar’s apartment with the premeditated goal of obtaining money and possessions through lethal violence.

In a statement released by the Budapest Central District Court, prosecutors alleged that the defendant targeted Molnar for financial reasons and intended to use the proceeds of the crime to fund further illegal activities.
The court statement claims the suspect planned to purchase an illegal firearm using the stolen money, with alleged intentions of committing additional violent acts.
These claims remain part of an ongoing investigation and have not yet been tested in court.
Authorities say items reported stolen from the apartment include Molnar’s mobile phone, headphones and a jacket.
The suspect is currently being held on suspicion of premeditated murder for financial gain, a charge that carries the most severe penalties under Hungarian law.
Molnar was originally from Oroszlány, a town west of Budapest, and had moved to the capital several years ago to pursue her career in fitness and modeling.
Friends described her as disciplined, driven and deeply committed to bodybuilding, nutrition and training. She had competed in several national fitness competitions and maintained a wide social circle within the fitness industry.
Tributes have poured in across social media following news of her death. Fans and fellow fitness enthusiasts have expressed shock and grief, with many remembering her dedication and positivity. One supporter commented simply, “Rest in peace, Dolli,” on one of her recent videos.
Her mother reportedly shared a heartbreaking message online, pleading for her daughter to return and expressing the profound loss felt by the family.

As the investigation continues, Hungarian authorities say they are working to establish a full timeline of events and verify all claims made by the suspect.
Prosecutors have requested the suspect remain in custody due to the severity of the charges and the risk of further danger.
The case has reignited discussions in Hungary around personal safety, online visibility, and the risks faced by public figures, particularly women working independently in urban environments.
Police have urged anyone with additional information related to the case to come forward as the legal process moves ahead.
