According to insiders, Lopez has been rehearsing up to 13 hours a day in a North Hollywood studio alongside her backup dancers to perfect every detail of her show.

“Jennifer is rehearsing night and day to make sure the show is spectacular, better than ever,” a source told Daily Mail.

“She always says she wants to be ‘better than yesterday.’ It’s her thing.”

Lopez flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Thursday evening via private jet to begin the residency.

The star’s dedication reflects her desire to keep The JLo Show one of the top draws in Las Vegas, even as newer entertainment venues such as the Sphere dominate the city.

“Everyone is going to the Sphere these days, that is the town’s big deal, so she wants to prove that a more old-fashioned concert at the Colosseum is still the place to be,” the insider added.

Lopez, who was previously married to Ben Affleck, is also motivated by a personal goal: to show fans that she remains at the top of her game despite being in her fifties.

“Jennifer loves to work, she never complains, it’s her jam,” the source explained. “Some people like to vacation on the beach in Hawaii, and some like to work nonstop.

Jennifer is the latter. She feels proud to be doing so well at her age and as a Latina woman.”

The upcoming shows will include surprise guest appearances, adding to the excitement for attendees.

Ja Rule performed at one of Lopez’s December shows in Vegas, and fans can expect similar star-studded moments in the new residency.

Lopez recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from her Los Angeles studio, where she rehearsed late into the night.

Dressed in a blue T-shirt reading “DREAM” and black leggings with her hair tied up, she captioned the clip: “SAVE ME TONIGHT with my crew ✨ @davidguetta.” Save Me Tonight is her new upbeat single, set for release this week.

Speaking with Derek Hough on Extra, Lopez expressed her excitement about returning to the Las Vegas stage.

“We’re doing the show again in Vegas and we’re there every weekend in March, which is exciting and adding some new songs to the show,” she said.

“It’s been a while since I put out a new song, but David Guetta had this song Save Me Tonight and I just loved it. It just felt very much of the moment for me.”

Describing her residency as the “quintessential JLo Show,” Lopez emphasized that the concert highlights her identity as an entertainer, artist, and person.

“You see who I am, I think, as not just an entertainer, a performer, but as an artist and as a human,” she explained. “I still do all my hits and all the songs that people know me for, but it’s really done in a very fresh and exciting way.”

Lopez also reflected on why she dedicates so much effort to her craft.

“I’m in my happy era and I have that in the show… I’ve never looked at it as a job. It’s just what I love to do,” she said.

“And I just feel fortunate that I have these amazing fans who’ve supported me for so many years, and there’s so much love that I feel that I always want to be giving the love back to them.

It’s just been an incredible blessing in my life. I don’t know what I would do without it.”

The JLo Show will run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from March 6 to 28. Lopez’s single, Save Me Tonight, will be released on Friday.

Fans can also watch a live-streamed performance from Las Vegas at approximately 8:30 p.m. PT on various social media platforms.
