An insider claims Kylie Jenner hopes Timothée Chalamet will propose as sister Kendall’s relationship with Jacob Elordi reportedly deepens.

Kylie Jenner is reportedly feeling the pressure in her relationship with Timothée Chalamet as speculation grows that her older sister, Kendall Jenner, could be heading toward marriage with actor Jacob Elordi.

According to a source quoted by Page Six, Kylie is finding it difficult to watch Kendall’s newer romance progress while her own relationship with the Marty Supreme star has yet to reach the milestone she hopes for.

“Even though Kylie and Timothée [Chalamet] have been together much longer, people in their inner circle actually see Kendall and Jacob Elordi getting married first, and it’s causing some jealousy and frustration for Kylie,” the insider claimed.

The source alleged that Kylie, 29, is ready to get engaged and has made her feelings about marriage known to Chalamet, 30.

However, she reportedly wants him to take that step because he is ready, rather than because he feels pressured.

“She’s not giving him ultimatums or demanding a ring, but she’s definitely making her feelings known and hoping he’ll get there sooner rather than later,” the insider said, adding that the situation is putting some pressure on the actor.

Despite the reported differences in their expectations, the source insisted that Chalamet remains invested in the relationship.

“Timothée loves Kylie and is very much invested in their relationship, but he’s simply not there yet,” the insider claimed.

The source added that a proposal in the near future could feel more like a response to outside pressure than a decision Chalamet has reached on his own.

“There’s a different level of seriousness and maturity between them,” the insider said.

During a rapid-fire interview, the Oscar-nominated actor was asked whether he thought he would ever get married.

“Wow, that’s so personal. That’s so personal,” Chalamet responded with a smile, joking that the interviewer was “gonna get me in trouble, man!”

He ultimately gave a direct answer to the question.

“Yes. Yes,” he said.

Chalamet did not specifically mention Kylie when discussing marriage, so his comments should not be taken as confirmation of an engagement or wedding plan.
