She explained that Andre sought therapy and took time for reflection, particularly after beginning to play football abroad with Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük.
“He went to therapy, and that really helped,” she said. “He had more time to look at himself and realise that what he was doing wasn’t how you make a relationship work. It was selfish.”
Leigh-Anne emphasized that growth and accountability were key to moving forward, adding: “If someone isn’t willing to change for you, forget it. They have to do the work. It’s not on you.”
