Hannah St John, 23, girlfriend of New Zealand F1 driver Liam Lawson, turned heads ahead of the 2026 Formula One Australian Grand Prix with a dazzling, custom-made necklace showcasing every track on the F1 calendar.
The model and medical graduate made her stunning appearance at the Glamour on the Grid event at Albert Park in Melbourne earlier this week, where she previewed the upcoming season in an elegant black dress.

While Hannah is often celebrated for her style and poise, this time it was the glittering necklace that stole the spotlight.
Designed by award-winning Adelaide-based Martin Rogers Jewellery, the bespoke piece is adorned with approximately 1,800 diamonds totaling 25 carats and carries an estimated value of £260,000.
Fans were particularly captivated by the intricate design, which maps out all the circuits on the 2026 F1 calendar in chronological order, beginning with Melbourne.
The creation of the necklace was no small feat. According to Martin Rogers, owner and master jeweller Andrew Mitchell spent 250–300 hours crafting the piece.

Following that, it required an additional two-and-a-half weeks of continuous late nights to meticulously set each diamond, ensuring the design reflected each track with accuracy and elegance.
Speaking to SunSport, Mitchell explained how the project came to life. “We initially planned to have the necklace ready for the Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Hannah’s team saw it in the private Club Zagame suite and sent her a photo, and she was blown away.
We then flew it to Melbourne two days later so she could wear it,” he said.

When Hannah first saw the necklace in person, she was reportedly amazed by its scale and brilliance. “She said it looked good in the photo, but in person it was incredible.
The weight surprised her initially, but she found it very comfortable to wear,” Mitchell added.
A particularly memorable moment came when Liam Lawson himself could identify and name all the tracks featured on the necklace, impressing both Hannah and the designers.
Hannah shared the piece with her 93,000 Instagram followers, captioning the post that she “felt like an absolute princess.”

The reaction from fans and fellow F1 partners was equally enthusiastic. Carlos Sainz’s partner, Rebecca Donaldson, commented simply: “Beautiful.”
Social media users were equally enchanted, praising the necklace as a “piece of art” and celebrating Hannah’s flawless style.
The necklace, named La Velocità—Italian for “speed”—was inspired by discussions with former Swedish racing driver and motorsport executive Stefan Johanssen.
Mitchell revealed that the idea originally began with a diamond-set representation of the Adelaide circuit, which then evolved into a full 24-track necklace spanning the entire 2026 season.
“I wanted to create a piece that would appeal to both motorsport enthusiasts who recognize the tracks and general audiences who appreciate beautiful jewellery,” he said.

La Velocità not only captures the tracks with precise detail but also maintains a cohesive, elegant design.
Mitchell explained that because the necklace was not commissioned, he could dedicate whatever resources were necessary to achieve perfection, prioritizing craftsmanship and visual impact over cost or time constraints.
“The reaction from Hannah and her fans made all the effort worthwhile in the end,” he concluded.
Hannah has already been spotted in the F1 paddock, supporting her Kiwi boyfriend as he prepares to kick off the season with Racing Bulls.
The couple, who have been dating for around three years, appear inseparable, with Hannah often sharing glimpses of her life alongside Lawson both on and off the track.
The Australian GP appearance with the £260k necklace marks yet another stylish statement from Hannah, solidifying her reputation as one of the most glamorous and fashion-forward WAGs in Formula One.
With the new F1 season underway, fans can expect to see more of Hannah’s stunning ensembles as she continues to support Liam, blending high fashion with motorsport culture in spectacular style.
