Love Island’s Zara Deniz reveals she was kicked by a stranger in London, echoing Kirsty Gallacher’s shocking street attack story.
Former Love Island contestant Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown has revealed that she was kicked by a stranger in broad daylight, speaking out after former Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher described a similar attack earlier this week.
The incidents have sparked a wider conversation about rising crime and personal safety for women in London.

Kirsty, 49, broke down in a video posted to Instagram after being left bruised following a random attack while walking to her car. She explained that a man dressed in black approached her on a well-lit street and, without provocation, kicked her “like a football” before fleeing the scene.
Kirsty highlighted the lack of assistance from a nearby security guard but expressed gratitude to two women who rushed to her aid.
In response to Kirsty’s video, Zara, 28, shared her own disturbing experience, which occurred on October 16 at around 3 p.m. near Great Portland Street. “This same EXACT thing happened to me in broad daylight!” she wrote on Instagram. Zara explained that the attacker kicked her for no reason as they passed each other. “I reported him to the police, bystanders did nothing to help me so I was so shocked & shaken up,” she said.
The reality star added that she was left standing motionless before shouting at the man, who walked away nonchalantly.

Zara used her post to raise awareness about the dangers women face while walking alone in London. “I’ve been trying to spread awareness about the realities of being a woman and how it’s not safe to even walk around London anymore!” she wrote.
The former Love Island contestant praised Kirsty for sharing her experience and emphasized that attacks like these should not happen.
Kirsty’s own Instagram video detailed the shock and disbelief she felt after the attack. “I was just walking to my car to go back home to my family… and someone decided to just give me a good kicking in the street,” she said.
She urged her followers to remain vigilant and take precautions, noting that even careful individuals can fall victim to random violence.

Both Kirsty and Zara’s accounts have resonated with social media users, highlighting the need for increased awareness and safety measures for women navigating city streets. Their stories underline the reality that attacks can happen to anyone, regardless of how careful or vigilant they may be, and have sparked discussions about public safety and responsibility.
With both women bravely sharing their experiences, their message is clear: personal safety remains a pressing concern, and individuals should remain alert, support one another, and report incidents to authorities when necessary.
