Miley Cyrus turned heads on Thursday after sharing a trio of striking portraits on Instagram, giving fans a closer look at both her bold fashion sense and her brand-new $150,000 engagement ring.

The singer and actress, 33, posed confidently beside her vintage Mercedes-Benz, dressed in a delicate white lace-trimmed camisole that she paired with black leather trousers, a statement gold chain belt, and an oversized fur jacket draped casually off her shoulders.
The photos arrived just hours before Cyrus headed to the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she spoke openly—and humorously—about her engagement to musician Maxx Morando, 27.

The couple confirmed the happy news earlier this week after the star was seen wearing the striking diamond ring at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere in Hollywood.
During her appearance on Kimmel’s show, Cyrus revealed an unexpected detail about why she accepted Morando’s proposal.

With her trademark dry humor, the Grammy winner confessed that she suffers from what she described as a strong “phobia” of paper. Even the cue cards on Kimmel’s desk, she joked, “made me want to vomit.”
“The real problem is when people have dry hands and they touch paper,” Cyrus said, explaining that the texture triggers her discomfort.
The fear is intense enough that she makes Morando open all her delivery packages outside their Los Angeles home. “That’s why I got engaged,” she teased. “I make my fiancé open all the packages.”
Kimmel reminded her that the traditional first wedding anniversary gift is paper, prompting Cyrus to shoot back with a playful, “Not here.”

The late-night host also asked whether she would be able to sign a marriage certificate given her aversion.
Cyrus briefly referenced her previous marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth, recalling that the certificate had a smoother finish she found more tolerable.
The former couple married in 2018 and finalized their divorce in 2020 after a decade of an on-off relationship.
Cyrus’s interview began with a warm congratulatory moment, as Kimmel pointed out the sparkling diamond on her finger.

The singer quipped that the ring was a “Black Friday deal,” before quickly clarifying she was joking.
She added that Morando “did good” when choosing the 14-karat yellow-gold ring, expressing genuine pride in its design.
Ahead of her television appearance, Cyrus arrived at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre wearing a sleek and edgy ensemble: leather pants, a lace camisole, towering stiletto heels, and a fur puffer jacket.
She was accompanied by several security guards and her mother, Tish Cyrus, 58.
Cyrus is currently promoting her contribution to James Cameron’s new film Avatar: Fire and Ash, for which she recorded the emotional ballad “Dream As One.”
Engagement rumors had been swirling since she walked the red carpet at the film’s premiere earlier in the week.

Morando joined her at the event, where the couple posed affectionately for photographers before entering the Dolby Theatre.
The engagement was later confirmed once more when Morando’s father shared celebratory photos from Miley’s birthday, captioning the post with a heartfelt “congratulations.”
