The internet is currently in a frenzy as the first glimpses of Shiloh Jolie‘s music video debut have surfaced, showcasing a transformation that has fans seeing double.

At 19, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is stepping into the spotlight not as an actress, but as a formidable talent in the global dance scene.

Shiloh Jolie shocked the internet on Friday as she made her music video debut in K-pop star Dayoung’s forthcoming visual for “What’s a girl to do?” as seen above.

Her appearance in the teaser for K-Pop sensation Dayoung’s new single, “What’s a Girl to Do,” has ignited social media, with fans and critics alike marveling at the striking resemblance to her Oscar-winning mother.

On April 3, 2026, Starship Entertainment released a 27-second teaser for “What’s a Girl to Do,” the highly anticipated solo project from Dayoung, a member of the renowned K-Pop group Cosmic Girls.

While the song itself promises a high-energy anthem, it was the cameo by a certain 19-year-old dancer that stole the show.

In the brief footage, Shiloh is seen sporting a slicked-back hairstyle, bold hoop earrings, and a lacy brown vest—a look that many have compared to Angelina Jolie’s iconic 90s aesthetic.

Fans were quick to point out that the “Jolie genes” are undeniable, with one user on X (formerly Twitter) commenting, “Literally looks exactly like her momma oh my god,” while another noted the “fierce, feline intensity” that mirrors Angelina’s early career.

Perhaps the most impressive detail of Shiloh’s involvement is how she secured the role. According to reports from Maeil Business Newspaper, Starship Entertainment held open auditions in the United States to find elite dancers for Dayoung’s video.

Shiloh reportedly applied through this open call as part of a dance crew known as “Culture.”

A representative for the agency revealed that the casting team was unaware of Shiloh’s famous parentage during the selection process.

“She was selected in the final round based on her skills,” the representative stated, adding that they only recently discovered her identity by chance.

This revelation bolsters Shiloh’s growing reputation as a serious professional who is determined to carve her own path in the industry.

Shiloh’s transition into the professional dance world has been a steady climb. In June 2025, she made headlines by debuting a new professional moniker, Shi Jolie, while serving as a choreographer for a high-profile fashion event.

The performance, which celebrated the launch of Isabel Marant’s capsule collection with Net-A-Porter, featured dancers Tako Suzuki and Keoni Rose performing to a live set by singer Luella.

The decision to drop “Pitt” from her professional title—a move she legally initiated upon turning 18 in May 2024—was seen by many as a definitive step toward independence.

Variety described her choreography at the time as “steamy” and “emotionally charged,” proving that her talents extend far beyond just performing.

While her siblings have explored various creative avenues—Zahara attending Spelman College and Vivienne assisting their mother on the Broadway production of The Outsiders—Shiloh has consistently gravitated toward the studio.

She is a regular at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, where she has been filmed performing powerful routines to hits like Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” and, more recently, the viral track “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars.

Her instructors, including choreographer Kolanie Marks, have frequently praised her work ethic. Marks previously shared with People that Shiloh is “exceptionally talented” and “sincere,” never using her celebrity status to gain an advantage in the studio.

Despite the massive public interest in her career, Shiloh remains a deeply private individual. Angelina Jolie has often spoken about her children’s desire to avoid the “silly” parts of celebrity life.

In a 2025 panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Angelina remarked that none of her children were interested in acting, specifically noting that Shiloh “hates” the fame aspect.

“They really don’t like any of the celebrity part of it,” Jolie explained. “Some of them dance, some of them paint… but none of them are dying to be on screen.”

This makes Shiloh’s appearance in Dayoung’s music video even more significant; it appears she is willing to step into the frame if it means pursuing her genuine passion for dance.

The full music video for Dayoung’s “What’s a Girl to Do” is set to premiere on Tuesday, April 7. While it is currently unclear if Shiloh will be featured as a primary character or remain strictly in the dance ensemble, the anticipation is at an all-time high.

As she continues to bridge the gap between Hollywood royalty and the rigorous world of professional dance, one thing is certain: Shiloh Jolie is no longer just a “lookalike” daughter.

She is a rising artist in her own right, wielding her mother’s intensity and her own unique rhythm to capture the world’s attention.
