Barcelona star Lamine Yamal’s breakup with Nicki Nicole sparks rumors linking him to Italian influencer Anna Gegnoso.
Italian social media influencer Anna Gegnoso has found herself in the spotlight amid growing rumours that she may be linked to Barcelona football star Lamine Yamal following his reported split from Argentine singer Nicki Nicole.
The speculation began after Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos, co-presenter of D Corazón on Spain’s national broadcaster La 1 (the Spanish equivalent of BBC One), revealed that Yamal personally confirmed the end of his three-month relationship with Nicki Nicole.
According to de Hoyos, the 17-year-old football prodigy reached out to clarify that his recent trip to Italy had “nothing to do” with the breakup and denied any infidelity.
“Lamine says they’re not together anymore and it hasn’t been because of any infidelity,” de Hoyos said on air.
“He tells me the trip to Italy has nothing to do with all of this — that he was no longer dating Nicki when he went and he hasn’t been with anyone else.”
However, Spanish paparazzo Jordi Martin reignited speculation after posting a selfie video on social media claiming that Nicki Nicole had directly messaged him in the early hours of the morning to confirm the split.
In the video, Martin read out what he said was the singer’s message:
“Hi Jordi. I’m not normally one to do this sort of thing, but I just wanted to clarify that Lamine and I haven’t been together now for a few days, since I left Barcelona.”
Nicki reportedly went on to address circulating rumours that Yamal had been unfaithful with Anna Gegnoso during his recent Milan visit, saying:
“I’m telling you this mainly because of the infidelity rumour. Believe me, if someone were unfaithful to me, I would be the first to clarify it everywhere, just like I did in the past.”
