In a public statement issued to media outlets, a spokesperson for the Suns targeted attorney Sheree Wright, who represents Traylor alongside co-counsel Courtney Walters, highlighting past disciplinary actions taken against her by state judicial authorities.
A official Phoenix Suns spokesperson stated that the Supreme Court of Arizona has twice disciplined attorney Sheree Wright for committing numerous violations of the rules of professional conduct, noting that she is currently serving a two-year probation with the State Bar of Arizona.
The organization added that Wright and her client have made absurd accusations of misconduct surrounding the security department of the Phoenix Suns, characterizing these allegations as delusional and categorically false.
Bartelstein, a former college basketball player who assumed the dual-CEO role for both franchises in 2023, married his wife, Sydney, in 2022. He has previously spoken in glowing terms about his wife’s foundational role in supporting his high-pressure executive career.
