Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis was supported by his 31-year-old girlfriend Eileen Kelly at a recent Los Angeles concert, as the rock star continues to face criticism over his history of dating significantly younger women.
Kelly, a sex and dating writer for Vogue, attended the band’s performance at the Hollywood Palladium, where she celebrated the occasion with friends.
The 31-year-old shared a glimpse of her evening on Instagram, posing in a black-and-white musical note dress.
She captioned the post: “First time seeing my baby perform!! & celebrating my best friends’ engagement in my Patrick Kelly dress.”
Her appearance attracted attention, with some social media users expressing surprise that it was her first time watching Kiedis perform live.
One commenter wrote: “First time?! Wow I’m your age, from a third world country, and I’ve already seen them twice!”
Kelly was also joined at the concert by model and actress Lily-Rose Depp, 27, who opted for a bright blue dress.
The couple’s relationship has attracted attention because of their 32-year age difference. Reports have linked Kelly and Kiedis romantically since November 2025.
Girlfriend addresses their age difference
Kelly previously addressed the age gap in an essay published in Vogue in late April.
Although she did not explicitly name Kiedis in the piece, she had been spotted with the musician on several occasions.
She described the relationship as her first experience of dating someone significantly older and jokingly suggested she had been “missing out my whole life”.
Kelly also revealed that their age difference had prompted unsolicited comments from strangers.
Among the awkward encounters, she said, were occasions when people mistook Kiedis for her father.
The writer acknowledged that such assumptions could make public outings uncomfortable, explaining that the experience was “incredibly awkward every time”.

Vogue Williams criticises Kiedis’ dating history
The romance has also drawn scrutiny from people who have questioned Kiedis’ history of relationships with younger women.
In August, podcaster Vogue Williams discussed the musician’s dating history on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, which she co-hosts with comedian Joanne McNally.
Williams recalled Kiedis’ relationship with Australian model Helena Vestergaard, who was 19 when they dated in 2013, while the singer was in his early 50s.
Expressing her disappointment, Williams said she found the situation particularly frustrating because she was a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
She said: “Do you know who else I find really disappointing and hasn’t broken the law – but really disappointing because I really like the Red Hot Chili Peppers – Anthony Kiedis, and he is like 54 or something and he went out with a 19-year-old.
And it is like, ‘Dude, what are you talking about?'”
Williams also questioned the dynamics of relationships involving such substantial age differences.
However, she acknowledged that famous rock stars can attract younger partners because of their wealth, celebrity status and ability to offer a glamorous lifestyle.

Away from the stage, Kiedis is the father of 19-year-old son Everly Bear Kiedis, whom he shares with his former girlfriend, model Heather Christie, 40.
